I love A Blue Lagoon

One of my favorite restaurants to get take-out from is Tropical Smoothie.  I love that it’s fresh and healthy and NOT fried.  Now don’t get me wrong, I do eat my share of fried foods!!  But I really enjoy a fresh meal.  I get the same thing every time….I’m not very adventurous.  The King Caesar Wrap -no tomatoes- and a Blue Lagoon smoothie with 3 packs of Stevia-no sugar.  Oh it is so good and so refreshing.  I had some bananas that were about to go south on me recently so I decided to whip up my own little version of the blue lagoon.  I have no idea how they do it over at TS (other than it’s strawberries, blueberries and bananas) but mine turned out really pretty good.  Here’s what I started with.

Put it all in the blender…no measuring needed.  I did add a little bit of sugar and a touch of milk (which I KNOW they don’t do at Tropical Smoothie….but I needed a little liquid to help get it going).  And whirl it all up!!!  Ruthie wanted to take hers to the next level and add a little whipped cream on top with a fresh blueberry for garnish.  Hehe….like mother, like daughter. It hit the spot!!  Perfect for these HOT afternoons!!Now, where’s my King Caesar wrap???
