It is Tuesday and I have just now sat down and looked at my pictures from the Easter weekend. 224 in all which I thought was pretty low. We visited with fam, fam, and more fam!! It was almost as crazy as Christmas but it was a weekend full of fun and memory making.
We started the weekend off at my parents’ house. We spent ALL afternoon outside!! It was a lot of fun but we were all spent afterwards. First, we had a water balloon war!! That always brings a smile to my face!
This is my oldest niece, Abbie….Tobin’s about to get it!
Ruthie and my other niece, Payten….making some more bombs!
After the water balloons, the children painted terra cotta flower pots. This one is Lilly’s.
This one is Tobin’s.
After that, we hid and hunted eggs. YAY!! Meme had no candy in the eggs….only cash!! My favorite! 😉
After the egg hunt we cooled off again with water GUNS this time. Lilly LOVED this!!
But she did NOT appreciate being shot at!! STTTTOOOOOOPPPP!!
This is my brother, Jeffery about to ride Ruthie on the 4-wheeler.
And this is my 9-year-old husband….I think he’s aiming at Tobin. My mother ended up getting him soaked in the end!!
Easter morning before we left for church. Our first Redeemer Easter service was awesome!! So worshipful. Just a reminder that we meet at Honeysuckle Middle School at 10:30am. We’d LOVE to have you join us!! www.redeemer.cc
She’s growing up on me way too fast!!
So is Tobin!!
Lilly wouldn’t cooperate for a picture of just her….here’s an out-take.
After church we went down to Keith’s grandmother’s and had lunch and hunted more eggs!
This is my nephew, Isaac (Keith’s sister’s oldest)
I love this!! We went bloomerless for the afternoon and got caught with our dress up!! Hello to Mickey and Minnie!
Ruthie counting her eggs.
Daddy helping Lilly dig into her chocolate!! That girl LOVES her some chocolate!!
These are most of the grands and great grandchildren on this side of the family. TOUGH to get everybody to look at the same time!!
We ended the day at Keith’s parents’ house with ribs and hamburgers. We had to say good bye to his sister and her family. They returned to their home in Richmond, VA on Monday. We always enjoy what little time we get to spend with them when they visit!
Starting at the top: Lealla (in the highchair…who is 1 day younger than Lilly), Ruthie (7), Isaac (3), Tobin (5) and Lilly (2)
It was a very full and fun weekend!! Hugs to our families!!
By the way, I’ve been asked by several of you for instructions on the tissue paper wreaths that I did HERE
. I’ll try to get that up for ya soon!! It’s really so so easy!!
