CBS Egg Hunt

in faith, kids

I so enjoyed having my core group from Community Bible Study over for a picnic and egg hunt this past Wednesday!!  We are always so busy staying on task in our discussion times on Wednesday mornings that we rarely have time to just sit and visit.  So this was a fun thing to get to do together!!

Of course we had to have some yummy food!!  And this is just the kids’ table!  Us mommies had chicken salad and croissants and I kept that inside because I’m a food safety nut!!

Recognize the rainbow cupcakes??  I said I wanted to make THESE again and here they are in pastels!

This is Lindsay from http://linziesblog.squarespace.com/ watching her little one run and play!
 And let the hunt begin!

My precious ones!  This pic reminds me of the days when Ruthie was Lilly’s age and she would have me hide chalk Easter eggs over and over and over for her no matter what season!  I would hide them on the front porch and then she’d hide them for me to find.  We spent many-a-afternoon doing that. I miss those times!
 Such a CUTIE!!

 Yay! You found some! :)
There’s our sweet and fearless leader Kristi!! 😉

This is one determined little chick!!  ðŸ˜‰ Those sandals were made for walkin’ and that’s just what they’ll do!!

Oh we had so much fun!  The weather was perfect even though it was a touch warm!!
We missed you Kristi from http://wldjrs.blogspot.com/ !  AND Darby from http://www.flythroughourwindow.com/.  Hugs to y’all!!
I ended the day feeling so very blessed to have such sweet ladies in my life as well as having a home with the perfect back yard for an Easter egg hunt!  I know it sounds crazy but I envisioned this very event the first time I saw this yard. *sigh* I’m so very grateful for God’s provision!
We have more egg hunts to come over the weekend!!  ðŸ˜‰  Happy Easter!

What fun! So hate that me and the girls missed it. You were so sweet to open up your home. Happy Easter!
